The Story of the Dragonfly
Yes, the Gene Keys have to do with our genes and you may have heard that they are based in the Chinese I-Ching, which is a rather complex system. And still, here the journey begins with the myth and magic of the dragonfly. Dragonflies live entirely under water for years until one day, they climb up on a stalk, poke through the surface and ... become airborne, enjoying a new element, new freedom. This necessity and ability for fundamental change is what humans are facing at these times. We are undergoing a similarly drastic and liberating act of leaving the old element of our known perception of the world behind and spreading our wings into the unknown... getting ready for freedom.
The Gene Keys offer the map to do that, provide the encouragement that everything is possible and can ground you in the deep trust that what we have ever been, are or will be, is held as a fractal truth within every cell of our being. The mind needs to un-know for the heart to guide and the spirit to fly high.
The Art of Contemplation
The journey of self-illumination with Gene Keys is based in Contemplation. Contemplation is a wonderful bridge between concentration - where the mind is actively focused on an object - and meditation, where mind is quietly witnessing. It balances between the left brain linear thinking (yang) and the right brain perception (yin). What it needs is slowing down and patience. Contemplation does not need certain body postures or circumstances. It begins by pausing. *
